The Sun is an everlasting source of energy. In order to use this energy, The Sun Factory uses Photovoltaic modules which are placed in direct sunlight. These modules convert sunlight, with the use of semicon ducters, into DC power. With an inverter the energy can be supplied to the energy network (grid connected) or could be used for own consumption (Standalone system)

Photovoltaic (PV)
A photovoltaic cel, also called PV-cel, is the mostly common and applied type of Suncel.

The most important component of fotovoltaïsche an cell is a piece halfguided material which has been constructered in a slightly absorbing assembled material. But the electric flow can run only in one direction thru the solarcel. If there sunlight (electromagnetic radiation) on the solarcel falls, the electrons become free. Those will move therefore in the desired direction. The movement of all detached electrons together is the electric flow which runs thru the solarcel.

To have practical usefulness of these cels, these are assembled in solarpanels (Photovoltaic panel, Pv-paneel). A solarpanel provides equal energie. It can be connected on a inverter to get alternating current power. The Energy can be used immediately by the connected equipment. There can also charged a battery. If Pv-paneel is connected on the lighting system, it can deliver electricity to the energy society.
